A beam of sunshine catches the grass tassels in the meadow garden before sinking behind Stone Mountain. These September days are noticeably shorter with katydids and crickets singing in full chorus. There's a calming serenity in autumn when sunset shadows fall.

"Golden autumn comes to me and sings her lilting song:

"Wile away these golden days - I will not be here long.

Enjoy, enjoy my sunny days, my gentle breeze so soft

That loosens down thistle seeds and dances them aloft."
