In the midst of the season's festivities, I always find time to make a fresh centerpiece for the table. This colonial style centerpiece fills the house with citrus fragrance throughout the holidays. It's created on a tier cake plate filled with pine tips, rose hips and topped with a fresh pineapple. Then placed on a larger glass plate holding five hedge apples and fresh greens. This centerpiece will stay fresh for one week or longer depending on the ripeness of the fruit. And the best part, devouring the pineapple after Christmas!
