Our diets and health change with the season. As we shed heavy coats in spring we feel the need to drop extra pounds, exfoliate dry skin, and detox our body system. A clove tea is the fastest way to purge harmful toxins and parasites from the body. Cloves have the highest measured antioxidant level of all spices and herbs. They are not only helpful in cleansing the liver, but are good for digestive problems, gas pains, and bloating.  

There are many plants and spices that are helpful for cleansing the liver, but this Clove Tea Recipe has become my favorite. 
 


CLOVE TEA | A SPRING LIVER DETOX

Steep a tea bag (any kind) with 3 to 6 whole cloves.

Take 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup in the evening for 5 days.


OPTIONAL CHOICES

Add fresh ginger root, lemon, and cinnamon bark for a delicious spicy drink.

Fill tea infuser with spices and steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

Use spices for several cups of tea.


It's that simple.
