Summer wanes and slowly the farm fence turns into a hedge of twisted vines and lacy flowers.  The Silver Lace vine is particularly beautiful this year. Wire fences provide a lattice for this hardy native plant to thrive. The old-world charm of Big Valley seems endless.  Here are a few photos I took while out and about running errands this week.

September is just around the corner. Labor Day Weekend ushers in the change of season when we say good-bye to summer and  hello to autumn.

Cherish the last days of summer.
