Maybe Christmas, the Grinch thought, doesn’t come from a store.
Adorning a Christmas tree is an ancient old tradition. Evergreen branches have long been a symbol of life at a time when other trees are barren. Today, we celebrate the season with both fresh and artificial trees. This year, I experimented with designing a tree using boxwood, teasel and rose hips…the same materials used in all five arrangements included in the Holiday 2015 Tutorials.
This Holiday Pyramid Tree is the perfect Christmas centerpiece. It can stand alone or with multiple pyramids in varying heights for an elaborate tablescape. The everlasting materials will last beyond the holidays. If stored properly, the teasel tree can be used several years by replacing the faded Boxwood and Rose Hips.
"O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your branches green delight us!
They are green when summer days are bright,
They are green when winter snow is white.
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
Your branches green delight us!"
May your days be merry and bright,
